Even After all These Years Nike Still Reinventing the Air Force 1

Over the years we’ve had everything from the Nike Air Force 1. From bright neon colourways and trendy collaborations, to eco-friendly materials and diamond-encrusted panelling, we’ve been treated to practically it all from this iconic silhouette.

But just when you think Nike has done everything there is to do with this shoe, they manage to pull something fresh and exciting out the hat with a brand-new white and silver rendition that’s really caught our attention.

Featuring silver panelling and matte and crusted sections, the shoe uses a multitude of textures to great effect, throwing up something we haven’t really seen before on a silhouette that’s been around for almost 40 years. Impressive stuff and proof Nike still stand at the forefront of design innovation even after all these years.

With predominantly clean leather uppers, the shoe is not too dissimilar to the silhouette’s most iconic all-white colourway, although this time around we get some crusted panels on the heel and lateral, while the rear half of the uppers are constructed using a silver matte material which adds a different level of texture entirely.

The shoe’s signature Swoosh comes in white leather, and the traditional Air Force branding is present on the midsole and tongue to complete the shoe’s patented look and deliver a colourway that will no doubt go down a storm for those who like the popular silhouette.

As of yet, no official release date has been given, although it’s expected to arrive some time next year. As soon as we hear any news we’ll be sure to keep you updated so stay tuned.
