Joining the list of upcoming reissues from Nike is the Dunk SP High Dunk “Pro Green”, and this is one that’s really got our attention. After landing in time for holiday season, this upgrade to the uber-popular “Pine Green” colourway from 2008 is set to be one of the most in-demand styles this Christmas.
Nike has been drilling into its past collections to take us on what feels like a never-ending nostalgia-trip recently, and that trend is set to continue with this reissue which should go down a treat with avid sneakerheads who have been lauding the look all over social media.
Whereas most of the retro releases we’ve seen of late have come in the form of the Lows, this time around Nike have decided to add a brand-new High to the list of recent reissues and the result is a welcome addition to the Dunk collection.
Clean white on the leather uppers is combined with a dark green hue found on the leather overlays, laces, outsole and trademark Nike Swoosh for a look that’s reminiscent of its predecessor, save for one or two subtle upgrades. The perforations on the front portion of the shoe make the shoe breathable, meaning your feet won’t get all clammy when the weather’s hot of you’re ripping it up on the basketball court.
The shoe was released last month, although predictably it proved extremely popular and sold out in a matter of hours, meaning you’ll need to navigate the secondary market if you want to get your hands on some.
