If you’re a fan of the Yeezy Boost 380 then it’s set to be an exciting few months as Ye and his team prepare to drop a total of five new colourways before the year’s out.
First introduced last December in the “Alien” makeup, the Boost 380 was initially intended as the successor to the Boost 350, although after more consideration it was decided the silhouette should be given its own name – probably for the best as there are distinct differences between the two!
Although the 380 sticks to the tried and tested formula of the 350, the shoe’s shape is more angled, making it a better choice if you’re looking for performance over pure aesthetic value. The shoe also has perforations along the lateral, which is another sign it was designed with athletic performance in mind as these allow your feet to breathe when they become hot.
With five new colourways set to land in time for Christmas, if you’re a lover of the 380 then you’re for in for a real treat. Our favourite is the “Onyx”, which is unlike anything we’ve seen from the Yeezy empire before. The Primeknit upper uses black and brown hues to form a distinctive camo pattern, which is combined with a large brown midsole and gum-coloured treading which completes the stealthy aesthetic magnificently.
Released on Black Friday, the Yeezy Boost 380 “Onyx” will go on sale on the official Yeezy website, along with select retailers. The full list of Boost 380s set for release this year is as follows:
Yeezy Boost 380 “Calcite Glow” – October 31

Yeezy Boost 380 “Azure” – December 12
