Fans of the WMNS Air Jordan styles, it could well be your lucky day as the highly-anticipated “Lucky Green” colourway is finally set to make its long-awaited arrival this evening.
It’s set to be a busy few months for Jordan Brand, with a steady stream of upcoming releases set to arrive just in time for the festive period. And after a year that’s seen a number of green colourways hit the shelves, Nike have made room for at least one more with this Air Jordan 1 iteration, which comes exclusively in WMNS sizing.
The sneaker is made up of green and white leather uppers, with black accents seen on the laces, tongue and trademark Nike Swoosh. The shoe also features an off-white midsole, that’s accompanied by the style’s signature grip-heavy outsole which comes painted in black.
If you look closely, you’ll see unfinished details on the shoe’s eyelets for a raw feel that harkens back to the Retro feel of the styles of yesteryear. Rounding off the look’s exterior is the Nike logo to the tongue, a small heel tab and the debossed Air Jordan logo to the shoe’s upper lateral.
The insole references the wooden floor of the Boston Garden, a not-so-subtle nod to MJ’s 63-point playoff game performance against the Boston Celtics, which is where this particular iteration borrows its colour palette from.
Priced at around £130, the style is set to drop tonight (October 14) and will be available in full family sizing and. Although the shoe will only land in women’s sizes, this iteration has a decidedly unisex aesthetic so if you happen to be male and you like the look just go 1.5 sizes up and you should be good to go.
If you’re unsuccessful first time around, perhaps you’ll get the rub of the green and your luck will be better on the secondary market. Laced.co.uk will have a number of buy and sell options for the Air Jordan 1 “Lucky Green” so check them out now!
