Air Jordan 1 High 85’ “College Navy” Serving Us Georgetown Hoyas Vibes

Every sneakerhead should be familiar with the legendary “Georgetown Hoyas” sample that was leaked back in 1985 during MJ’s early days with Nike, however the colourway was never released and never saw the light of day. With this said, it looks like the tide is about to turn as new official imagery gives us a sneak peek at the Air Jordan 1 High ‘85 “College Navy” colourway for the first time, and we’re getting serious Georgetown vibes!

The “College Navy” features identical colour blocking to the ‘85 OG, however it chooses to opt for a leather construction throughout for a premium finish that we totally love. Built on top of a light grey base, the sneaker is adorned with dark navy panels that wrap elegantly around the heel, lacing system and toe box for a head turning contrast that works remarkably well. As expected, the signature Swoosh can be found on the lateral and medial side panels and the winged basketball emblem is featured predominantly in crisp white on the collar for a unique flair that delivers on every front.

If you were hoping to cop a pair pretty soon then you’ll need to be patient as the Air Jordan 1 High ‘85 “College Navy” colourway is expected to launch next February. Remember, good things come to those who wait! In the meantime, we’ll be bringing you all the latest updates regarding this much anticipated release as and when the information becomes available so be sure to check back to stay in the loop and stand any chance of adding these beauties to your collection.
