Inspired by the calming colours of sage, Jordan brand have announced that there will be another women’s colourway scheduled for release as part of the Spring/Summer 2021 line-up in the Air Jordan 1 High OG silhouette. We’ve already had a sneak peak from the sneaker giants in the form of official imagery, however now we’ve got our hands on an official release date too and expectations are certainly high for “Seafoam”.
Dressed in a sage colour scheme, this colourway makes use of seafoam, healing orange and white for a calm and collected finish that will turn heads for sophistication rather than frenzy. The Air Jordan 1 High OG WMNS “Seafoam” is built on top of a white leather base and features light shades of green on the overlay panels that contrast nicely. The same hue can also be seen on the iconic Nike Swoosh.
Although the laces are white too, they’re dressed with an orange rim for a two-toned look that nods directly to the string that is used to tie bundles of sage together. This is in line with Jordan Brands decision to base the colourway on the calming colours of sage in order to create a WMNS sneaker that is both stylish and sophisticated. The finished look is completed with a white midsole and green rubber outsole for the perfect ensemble.
