It’s time for another Air Jordan’s drop! This time we are in for a treat. Introducing the Air Jordan 1 Low in the stunning Iced Lilac Colourway. But first, here’s a little history about the iconic Nike Air Jordan brand.

The Air Jordan brand began in 1985. The shoes began production after a major fan hype was created after legendary basketball player, Michael Jordan was seen with the sneakers during his time with the Chicago Bulls in 1984. The first release was on April 1st, 1985. The Air Jordan 1 Low was the first low-top that Nike developed for the Air Jordan brand. They dropped the iconic sneakers back in 1985 alongside the Air Jordan 1 High.

After hundreds of different colourways and limited edition releases, in 2021 Nike Air Jordan generated $4.8 billion (USD) and has continued to take the sneaker world by storm. It is one of the most popular sneaker styles ever made.

Designed by Peter Moore, the iconic sneakers are just as relevant now than they were back in 1985.

Flash forward to 2023, we are about to have another new colourway in our hands, the Iced Lilac. Designed with a black, lilac, and white colour palette, this new style is definitely going to be a popular one…

Constructed with the full leather build with mesh lining and the tongue, the sneaker is complemented by the black and lilac tones across the upper design. The white midsole and partially translucent outsole which completes the sneaker design.

The premium materials and accents will allow a modern yet timeless look no matter what you style the Air Jordans with.

There have been official images floating around the internet and the release date is yet to be announced. The release will take place at select retailers and Nike’s official website.

The retail price is currently standing at $120 (USD).
