As such, Air Jordans are ushering in the new year with a gorgeous new colourway for the iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette, bringing the orange and peach hues of autumn to get us through this cold January! These sneakers, only just released on the 5th of January 2022, are sure to become an instant favourite for sneakerheads around the world!
The Air Jordan 1 is a silhouette that requires no introduction, and this colourway brings the effective colour blocking and high-contrast design we absolutely adore on the AJ1s. This colourway features almost no white, with just the classic pure white midsole that comes with virtually every colourway, and the white profile Nike Swoosh logo decorating the side. Each other panel is decorating with Halloween-esque, autumn tones.
The first thing that strikes you about this colourway is the deep burnt orange across the outsoles and collar, bringing with a deep Halloween harlequin aesthetic that screams of fall. This gorgeous fiery hue is supplemented by a lighter, peachy-orange tone. This lighter orange hue stretches from the heel to the toe, spreading across the toe guard, eyelets, and heel cap, as well as an extra panel on the collar, also decorated with the iconic Air Jordan wings logo in pure black.
The Halloween feel of these sneakers is finished beautifully with the addition of bold, deep black across the remaining panels. This black hue accounts for the midsection, providing a high-contrast background for the pure white profile Swoosh.
