MJ’s Barcelona Print is Back on an Air Jordan 1 Low Silhouette

Although the focus is often on his basketball skills, we want to draw your attention to some of MJ’s most iconic looks throughout his NBA career. Perhaps the most notable is the time he donned a bright, all-over print shirt back in 1992 with graphics so dazzling they’d have you reaching for your sunnies! In fact, this get-up has gone on to inspire many colourways and footwear releases over the years, and this time it’s an AJ1 Low that’s getting the Barcelona print treatment.

Opting for leather construction, these Air Jordan 1 Lows aren’t keeping things subtle as the overlays are donned in a bright aqua blue hue that is noticeably glossy. This detail can be seen in several places such as the toe cap, eye stay and heels and manages to contrast the crisp white that sits directly below. The midsole, tongue, laces and Wings insignia can be seen in the same neutral shade, however it’s the lining where things really start to get interesting. Here, the aforementioned Barcelona print can be seen detailing the kicks for a subtle appeal that is sure to get sneakerheads talking. The outsole opts for gum bottoms that manage to tie the entire design together nicely.

So far we’ve only managed to get our hands on official imagery of these Barcelona print inspired kicks, however it’s expected that they’ll be released with and other select retailers pretty soon. In the meantime, the Air Jordan 1 silhouette has been busy with new colourways hitting the shelves left, right and centre.

If you’re in the market for Air Jordans then the Laced resale market is the place to be. They’ve got all the latest and most exclusive kicks from Jordan Brand that you certainly won’t be scrolling for long until you come across a pair that give you those must-have vibes.
