Nike Air Max 90 Making Long-Awaited Return

Vegans look away now. The brand-new Nike Air Max 90 “Bacon” is about to drop, and sadly for our plant-based readers it’s a real beauty.

Featuring a bold and adventurous colour scheme that includes shades of red, pink, white and brown, true to its name the upcoming addition to the Nike Air Max 90 is reminiscent of a delicious meaty rasher.

The upcoming release is actually a reissue of the original that arrived way back in 2004, but chances are most of you won’t remember that one so here’s a chance to get your hands on a pair for the first time.

Constructed using a stylish combination of suede and leather, the latest Air Max 90 iteration utilises a Sail/Straw-Medium Brown sheen” colour scheme which is apparently intended to reproduce the appearance of pork belly – as we said, not one for the veggies or vegans, but a look the meat-eaters are sure to appreciate. Just remember, these aren’t fit for human consumption so keep the on your feet rather than your dinner plate!

Down below Nike have opted for a red visible Air unit, while underfoot the shoe has been finished with brown treading to put the finishing touches on a worthy addition to the iconic, time-tested silhouette that remains as relevant as ever.

The style is set to arrive on March 26th with select retailers. For more information, check out the Nike Air Max official website.

If these are right up your street, they’ll be on sale with select retailers from next week. For other past Air Max styles, check out the Laced.co.uk resale market where you’ll find all the rarest and most sought-after past releases from the Nike imprint.
