The last Dance: Essential viewing for Nike Air Jordan fans

It’s no secret that Air Jordans are some of the most popular sneakers on the planet. Since their first releases back in the 90s, thousands of unique colourways and designs have dropped. In recent years the drops have been coming thick and fast with what feels like a brand new AJ dropping each and every week.

If you are a fan of the Air Jordan designs then Netflix has a treat for you: It feels that in 2020 no stone has been left unturned in getting to know Michael Jordan inside and out, but now the team over at Netflix have produced a brand new documentary series focusing on the his time at Chicago Bulls and the two three-peats of back-to-back-to-back championship wins.

The documentary is packed with footage from his days at Chicago Bulls and there’s even plenty of footage from his starting days at the University of North Carolina, where you can see him wearing his varsity blue and white kit that has adorned plenty AJ colourways over the years.

From the iconic black and red “CHI” colourway, which kicked off everything, to the “He Got Game” and the Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” colourways, sneaker fans can see some of their favourite sillhouttes in action like never before.

A lot of Air Jordan designs have become infused into trainer culture so its great for fans to get a chance to see some of the iconic footwear, in action, on the court. There are probably millions of AJ fans out there today that never got a chance to watch Michael Jordan play but have a collection of AJ’s as part of their rotation. After all Michael Jordan is as well known for his trainers as he was for playing.
