Rap Star Travis Scott has once again collaborated with Nike for another colourway of sneakers. They unveiled the new “Olive” Air Jordan 1’s on his website with an expected release date of April 26th in women’s and children’s sizes.
Travis Scott has been named one of the most influential rappers and fashion icons of his time. From his collaboration with the Jordan brand to headlining major music events across the globe, he has a loyal fanbase to support him for this new style of sneakers.
During the first release press interview, Scott said, “These Jordan 1s are just a fresher version of my old play shoes” He then commented on the details of the sneakers saying, “The colours are from tones and textures of what I saw growing up and remind me of my backyard and playing outside.”
With the highly anticipated excitement from sneakerheads, the official date of the launch couldn’t come any quicker. We have a set of exclusive images that have been floating around the internet of what the new Air Jordan 1’s will look like.
Some details include:
- Reversed Nike Swooshes

This collaboration is rumoured to be Travis’ last launch with Nike, but this is yet to be confirmed by both the brand and rapper. The Houston rapper was the first to design a Nike sneaker with the “backward swoosh” which has been a huge success.
After the successful launch of last year’s “Reverse Mocha” and “Black Phantom”, this next launch is sure to be a success.
The Nike Air Force 1 sneaker was first launched back in 1982 and was designed by designer Bruce Kilgore and was the very first basketball sneaker to have the Nike Air Technology in them. There are now 3 styles available in this style low, mid, and high-top.
