Yeezy 350 Boost “Tail Light” – 6 Months On

Back in late February, Kanye and adidas added to a recent swathe of Yeezy releases with the Boost 350 v2 “Tail Light” and this was one look that really caught our attention.

Despite arriving on the scene along with a host of other colourways, this one truly stood out from the crowd. Returning to its neutral colour roots, this latest iteration of the uber-successful silhouette coupled pale shades of grey and white with an eye-pleasing orange hue to add a brand-new, lighter look to the 350 v2 collection just in time for spring.

In terms of the design, this one pretty much stuck to the tried and tested formula of old. With a sock-like Primeknit upper dressed in shades of white and grey combined with the design’s patented sidestripe and a semi-translucent midsole encapsulating the silhouette’s Boost technology mated to a gum-coloured outsole, this rendition was the usual mix of style and comfort we’ve come to expect from the 350 v2.

Rounding of the colour scheme are accents of safety orange to the sidestripe and heel tab that ensured the design is a delightful contrast of both understated minimalism and eye-catching colour.

Since its release, the design has garnered quite a high level of interest on the resale market, currently commanding up to £350 on StockX, which suggests the Boost 350 v2 “Tail Light” has been another roaring success for Ye.

Released as a regional exclusive, the design only dropped in Europe and Russia, which could explain why some Yeezy aficionados are willing to part with such large sums to cop a pair.

Kanye recently revealed the collab’s full 2020 calendar, with a mind-blowing 30 new designs across the range of Yeezy collections set to drop before the year’s out.
