After a somewhat disappointing winter for Yeezy, Kanye’s project is back with a bang this Spring with a plethora of exciting additions on offer. Following on from some of big releases of late, the 500 collection is set to receive a splendid update in the form of the forthcoming “Enflame” colourway.
After being teased for the past few months, official imagery has now been revealed showing the upcoming makeup in all its glory, and just like a number of other recent Yeezy offerings, it’s a real return to form.
Comprised of a suede and mesh construction, the latest update to the Yeezy 500 collection comes dressed in an eye-catching multi-colour combination. Various shades of blue and grey meet brown on the uppers, while underneath Ye has opted for a striking orange that covers the large swirl-shaped midsole.
In the past, previous iterations of the Yeezy 500 have divided opinion. While some love the ‘dad shoe’ look, others are put off by the chunky aesthetic. Regardless of how many detractors the collection has amassed over the years, one thing’s for sure when a brand-new colourway drops: it’s guaranteed to sell out, and fast!
As ever, expect this one to prove popular among lovers of the model. While the ‘out there’ colour scheme won’t be to everyone’s taste, some will be drawn by the attention-grabbing aesthetic on display.
