Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Cloud White: a Year in Review

It’s been almost a year since the arrival of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Cloud, so we thought the time was right to revisit the majesty of one of 2019’s most impressive releases.

Ever since the moment Ye dropped the latest variant of his most in-demand collection, Yeezy aficionados were scrambling to get their hands on a pair of these white-hot, must-have showstoppers.

Sporting a cream white Primeknit upper with subtle shades of blue woven into the fabric, and signature semi-translucent side stripes, this attention-grabbing design is like the lovechild of the ‘Triple White’ and the ‘Static’, with a touch of ‘Blue Tint’ thrown in there for good measure.

The result is a stunning, ultra-clean colourway with a sock-like fit, a worthy addition to any self-respecting sneaker head’s collection.

The design also features a full-length bed of Boost technology encased in the rubber sole unit, for unrivalled comfort, cementing the v2 Cloud White’s position as one of last year’s most splendid and sought-after releases.

The design comes in a couple of variants: the reflective and the non-reflective iterations. With the reflective, the thread used for the Primeknit is ever so slightly lighter, meaning they look a tad more striking than their non-reflective counterpart. The difference between the two isn’t vast, but those who like to command maximum attention will no doubt prefer the reflective version.

After the world was gripped by the coronavirus pandemic, this past year or so hasn’t been easy. But if you’ve managed to get your hands on a pair of these immaculate sneakers, then at least your year’s been Yeezy. Don’t hate me!
