350s are dropping in our release calendar thick and fast in 2020. Whilst a world-threatening virus is bringing almost everything else to a standstill, Ye and adidas are still churning out colourways for sneaker fans to get excited about.
With the 350 V2 calendar set to be dropping a brand new look every month, the fear is that we could be set for an overload of YEEZYs and some colourway saturation which could mean some colourways fall by the wayside. But until then, we finally have the “Zyon” a look that YEEZY fans have been trying to get their hands on for a while now.
The new look is definitely one of YEEZYs strongest on the design front. Instead of sticking with a single colour for the entire Primeknit upper, the mix of tonal cream and light and dark browns are crafted into a unique crosshatch similar to the “Yecheil”. The design switches between vertical, horizontal and diagonal parallel lines in a cut and paste fashion for a look that is quote messy, but in a really great way.
The lateral mesh stripe is given more traditional solid colouring, only this time with a more transparent edge, as well as a black stripe also running straight down the middle of the shoe to separate the shoe into more identifiable sections. The transparent side stripe lets fans introduce their sock game to adda little something extra to the look and helps fans personalise their look.
The midsole is one of the brightest whites we’ve seen so far from Ye who tends to opt for cream over pain old white whilst finishing it off with a tan gum outsole for the third layer of colour. The heel tab has been done away with and the tubular laces have been given a solid light grey colour.
