It’s fair to say that even though 2020 has been one terrible year, it looks set to be a positive year for YEEZY Boost designs. We’ve been given a full look at the release calendar for every 350 V2 colourway dropping for the rest of the year, and before the quarantine arrived we were also lucky enough to enjoy plenty of colourways that will go down in YEEZY history as iconic looks.
One of the prime picks from 2020 so far has to be the “Desert Sage”. This look when in a new direction for YEEZY and adidas at a time when 350 colourways were starting to stagnate slightly. Stuck in pastel colours and vibrant neons, there was little room for adventure for sneaker fans tat wanted something a little bit more.
Then in stepped the “Desert Sage”; a sage green Primeknit upper featuring vibrant orange sockliner peaking above the ankle. This was a look that blended the iconic pastel colour schemes with features from the more Neon looks that many feared would never really work. After all, mixing earthy tones with electric colours of a Tokyo cityscape tend not to mix so well. But YEEZY manages to find a way of mixing those natural and un-natural colour elements together seamlessly, without overdoing it.
Needless to say the release sold out in minutes and now the “Desert Sage” is not one of the most highly inflated YEEZYS on the resale market as fans all over the world try and add them to their collection.
Initially releasing in March 2020, we expect these to be hanging around for along time as more and more start to find an affiliation with the unique colour scheme and their ability to blend with plenty of styles.
These are a must have for the rotation and can be found on Laced’s online trainers resale market today in plenty of sizes.
