As Nike continues to send out a steady stream of stylish Air Force 1 releases, up next it’s the
turn of the “LXX Sea Glass” iteration.
With uppers painted in a clean sail colour, the latest offering from the silhouette stays true to
its traditional roots, with many of the features here reminiscent of the specs found on the
original which was released way back in 1982.
Indeed, even after all these years, not a lot has changed on the Air force 1, and the “LXX
Sea Glass” sticks to the tried and tested formula we’ve come to love. The shoe’s only
deviations from what we’re used to come in the form of the snazzy reptile skin-inspired fabric
sections found on the Swoosh and heel.
Elsewhere it’s pretty much as you were, with a perforated toe box and chunky midsole
ensuring that classic AF1 look, which is known for its versatility and ability to pair with
practically any outfit you can throw together. Lovers of the time-tested silhouette will be
delighted to know this isn’t the only upcoming Air Force 1 release, as February also sees
some exciting updates lined up.
The Nike Air Force 1 “LXX Sea Glass” goes on sale today (28th January) with select
retailers. Although this will receive a mass release, as with most updates in this silhouette it’s
