For fans of the Yeezy 700 silhouettes, Christmas will come early this year with an all-new colourway set to drop just in time for Santa’s arrival.
After a flurry of brand new Yeezy Boost 700 and 700 v2 releases in 2020, Ye’s not done yet with an update to the 700 v3 silhouette now coming in the form of this brand-new look, named the “Eremiel”.
With a style consisting mainly of black and brown hues, the colour palette is reminiscent of the Yeezy 700 v3 “Alvah”, which arrived back in April. As on the earlier style, the “Eremiel” boasts a breathable mesh base with an RPU cage that wraps around the entire upper holding the shoe firmly in place. Below the rubber cage is a black Primeknit, but whereas the “Alvah” featured grey patterns on the lateral and medial, on this look they’ve been replaced with shades of beige brown instead.
Featuring an earthy-brown midsole and gum-coloured outsole, this is a perfect colourway for winter as the dark tones mean they’ll be easier to keep clean when your feet take a battering from the elements. As on all the Yeezy 700s, this rendition forgoes the Boost technology in favour of an uber-comfortable EVA foam solution instead.
The Yeezy 700 silhouette has always been a shoe that’s divided opinion among sneakerheads. Some see the style as innovative and ground-breaking, while others see no place for the chunky dad shoe in today’s world. Depending on where you stand, you’ll either be delighted or dismayed at Ye’s latest addition to his divisive collection.
The design is set to drop on Yeezy.com and with select retailers on December 21, so if you’re quick you may be able pick up a pair just in time for Christmas. For more updates or for other exclusive Yeezy trainers, head over to the incredible resale market at Laced.co.uk
