Once a YEEZY look has dropped the only chance of getting your hands on a pair is braving the resale market. Obviously this involves going toe to toe with thousands of other bidders and dipping deep into your pockets in order to muster up the funds to pay, sometimes ten times, over the retail price for your favourite pair.
That is until a restock happens. YE has been having a busy 2020: his YEEZY and GAP lines have been speeding up production even in the midst of a global pandemic and Ye has even gone on to run, and ultimately remove himself, from the US presidency 2022.
In all this chaos he has still found time to flick through the back catalogue and select a killer pair of 350’s to receive a restock. The lucky pair? The black and red “Bred” colourway from all the way back in 2017 which were obviously an instant sell out.
The look may look slightly dated when lined up alongside the current crop of Boost 350 V2 colourways. But the look of the “Bred” is still hugely popular and may we say almost iconic look that will be sure to get retro fans buzzing around the release, which should take place some time in December.
The restock comes at a good time for the “Bred” which is currently hitting prices of around £1k on the resale market. In order to help drive that price down and balance the market Ye and adidas will be looking to add a few thousand more pairs into the market at retail price – around £180 – to give a few more fans a fair chance at copping a pair.
The look will be dropping in full family sizes too so the entire family can kit themselves out a sleek new pair of YEEZYs.
