The Tail Light colourway from adidas and Yeezy was a February release that gave fans a style choice that was new for any Yeezy line. Where we were used to earthy, pastel colours or vibrant neon looks for the Boost 350, the Tail Light moved towards a more muted, grey colourway that caught the eye with orange features.
The entire Primeknit upper is greyed out on the “Tail Light”. And we all know that grey goes well with anything. To help that grey stand out has orange accenting that starts halfway through the sidestripe that graces the lateral sides. Where this stripe is offset with a slightly darker grey colouring form the rest of the Primeknit upper, as it makes its way towards the heel of the shoe it takes on a vibrant orange colour that represents the rear lights of a car.
The heel pull tab is also completely decked out in the orange colouring so that the brighter feature almost reaches off the back of the upper. The entire upper is constructed around Boost filled midsole which is given a similar grey shading as well as a slightly darker grey outsole for the most all-over grey colour scheme from Yeezy to date.
Grey may not stand out as one of the most eye catching Yeezy designs we’ve ever seen but there is something about the orange features, perfectly balanced around a clean grey upper which makes us feel this is going to be a standout performer for the 350 lineup.
Popularity of the Tail Light was evident as it was an immediate sell out. But don’t worry. You can get your hands on a pair via online trainers platforms where you can find great prices, whether you are buying or selling. Prices vary so make sure you keep a eye out for any price changes over the upcoming weeks. The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Tail Light” is set to be a must have summer 2020 colourway, so don’t miss out.
